Ruby Zoisite, also known as Anyolite, is a natural combination of green zoisite with red ruby crystals, often mixed with black amphibole. The main deposits are found in Tanzania, where it was first discovered in the 1950s. The name Anyolite comes from the Maasai word “anyoli”, meaning “green”.
