Dental Crowns are made of Metal, Ceramic, or  Porcelain fused to metal. Typically, the dental crown procedure is  completed in two stages. During the first stage, the Dentist removes  portions of your natural tooth’s structure to accommodate the dental crown. An impression is made and send to the lab, where the dental crown is created in about two weeks. Different types of crown requires different types of burs, due to the different thickness of  trimmed enamel that is needed to set as crown. Full Porcelain or Ceramic crown thickness generally has more thickness than the Porcelain-fused and metal crowns, and so a fast grinding Heavy Chamfer bur is more  suitable in this kind of preparations.
